Showcase your other talents! |

| Theatrical Moments & Jam Session The One Voice Conference is designed to afford an unusual opportunity for educators to come together and share knowledge, discuss and debate, explore issues and define recommendations and practical solutions, and to be part of a group striving to improve education, while enjoying beautiful San Francisco, and the fabulous Westin St. Francis hotel. There is another special aspect to the One Voice event, an opportunity for educators to share and bond in another way, through music and the Arts in which they are invited to participate. Every educator who registers for the One Voice conference will be asked to identify his or her talent beyond academics, whether to sing a song, perform a dance, act in a skit, present poetry, play music, tell jokes, juggle…to share a special talent with his or her peers at the event. Terence Keyes, artistic director, will meet with all educators interested in sharing their star qualities with the group at a special Showcase Social Hour scheduled on Day 1 of the conference, July 5, 2008. Terry will organize the Theatrical Moments performed by educators and weave them throughout the schedule of the program. Educators are multi- talented people with great depth, small facets of which can be shared through this unique part of the program. The Jam Session is a special part of the program that is designed to provide the unusual opportunity for musician/educators within the group to play alongside a very talented local ensemble of musicians who will be providing entertainment on Day 4 of the conference, July 8, 2008. All registrants who wish to participate in the Jam Session should indicate this preference when registering for the conference. The Theatrical Moments and Jam Session have been included in the One Voice conference to provide an enriching, sensational and enjoyable experience for all of its honored attendees. |
